FAQ

What is creatine, and why should I take it?

Creatine is a natural compound found in your muscles and brain that helps produce energy. Taking a creatine supplement increases your muscle’s energy reserves, which can lead to improvements in strength, power, and exercise performance . Unlike many workout supplements, creatine also has benefits beyond the gym – it may support cognitive function (think memory and mental quickness) by boosting brain energy levels . In short, creatine is one of the most researched, effective supplements for both physical and mental performance, and it’s beneficial for anyone looking to support their overall vitality.

How is EVIAL Creatine + AstraGin® different from regular creatine?

Three things.

It's micronized. The particles are far smaller than in standard creatine, so it dissolves smoothly instead of leaving grit at the bottom of your shaker — and it tends to sit easier on the stomach.

It carries AstraGin®. Every serving includes 50 mg of a patented extract of Panax notoginseng and Astragalus membranaceus, included to support how well your gut absorbs nutrients.

There is nothing else in the jar. 5,000 mg of creatine monohydrate and AstraGin® — no flavors, sweeteners, fillers or preservatives. It is made in a cGMP-registered, NSF-certified facility in the USA, and every batch is tested by an independent lab.

Can women take this creatine? Will it make me bulk up?

Yes — creatine is not a hormone and it is not a steroid. It is a compound your own body already makes and stores in muscle, and the research base covers women as well as men. What it does is help you produce energy for short, intense effort, which supports strength, recovery and lean muscle over time.

It will not make you bulk up on its own. Muscle size comes from training and eating for it over months. Some people do notice a couple of pounds on the scale in the first weeks — that is water drawn into the muscle cells, not fat, and it is part of how creatine works.

Do I need to do a loading phase or cycle off creatine?

No to both. A loading phase — around 20 g a day for a week — fills your muscle stores faster, but 5 g a day gets you to exactly the same place in about three to four weeks, without the stomach upset some people get from large doses. We designed the scoop around the simple version: one scoop, every day.

There is also no need to cycle off. Creatine monohydrate has one of the longest safety records in sports nutrition, with studies covering continuous daily use in healthy adults. Consistency is what makes it work — the days you skip are the only ones that cost you.

When is the best time to take my EVIAL creatine – before or after workout?

It matters less than people think. Creatine works by keeping your muscle stores topped up over time, not by giving you an acute hit before a session — so the best time is whenever you will actually remember it every single day.

Many people take it with a meal or in a post-workout shake. On training days, either side of the workout is fine. Pick a moment that is already part of your routine and stick to it.

Is creatine safe? Are there any side effects I should know about?

Creatine monohydrate is one of the most studied supplements in sports nutrition — over 500 peer-reviewed studies across three decades, with a strong safety record in healthy adults at 3–5 g a day.

The most common effects are mild: a small increase in body water during the first weeks, and occasionally stomach discomfort if a large dose is taken on an empty stomach — splitting the dose or taking it with food usually solves that. Claims that creatine damages the kidneys or causes hair loss are not supported by the evidence in healthy people.

If you have a kidney condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take prescription medication, check with your doctor before starting any supplement.

What kind of results can I expect, and how long will it take?

Creatine works cumulatively, not instantly. At 5 g a day your muscle stores fill up over roughly three to four weeks — that is when most people notice it: an extra rep or two, better output on the last set, less fade between hard efforts.

It is not a stimulant, so there is no day-one kick. And it does not replace the work: creatine gives you the energy to train harder, the results still come from the training and the food around it.

Do I need to take EVIAL creatine on rest days, or just on workout days?

Every day, rest days included. The point is to keep your muscle stores saturated — they drain slowly when you skip, and a partly filled store is a partly working supplement.

One scoop daily, whenever it fits. On rest days it does not matter at all when you take it.

I follow a specific diet. Is this product suitable for keto/vegetarian/IF lifestyles?

Yes to all three. There are no added sugars and no calories, so it will not spike insulin or break a fast — you can take it inside or outside your eating window.

The creatine is synthesized, not animal-derived, so it suits vegetarians and vegans. In fact, plant-based diets contain very little dietary creatine, so people who do not eat meat often have the most to gain from supplementing.

It is also non-GMO and free from gluten, dairy, soy and major allergens.

What does AstraGin® do?

AstraGin® is a patented, plant-derived compound made from Panax notoginseng and Astragalus membranaceus root extract. Every serving of EVIAL carries 50 mg of it.

It is included to support how well your gut absorbs nutrients — amino acids among them — so more of what you take gets to where it is needed.

Awesome item

Because it's micronized, the texture is much softer than standard, gritty creatine. Instead of clumping up or immediately settling like sand at the bottom of your shaker bottle, it dissolves very smoothly into plain water, juice, or a protein shake with just a few quick shakes.

Great creatine supplement

I have been taking 3–5g almost daily for about two months now and have noticed significant increases in recovery, sleeping better, feeling more rested in the morning even with less sleep, and substantial improvements in my strength during yoga and Pilates classes.

Mixes quickly, no taste at all

The powder has no noticeable taste or smell at all. Once mixed, it drinks almost like plain water, which makes taking it every day effortless. After several weeks I noticed I felt a little stronger during the last few repetitions of difficult sets.

Dissolves well

It dissolves really cleanly and completely in water, without the stubborn residue at the bottom that I used to have to swirl and swallow at the end of every drink. I've been adding it to my morning water and occasionally to a protein shake without any clumping.

Easy and simple creatine powder

It mixes well with just water and doesn't leave any weird taste or aftertaste. It dissolves pretty easily with minimal clumping, which makes it convenient for daily use. The amount you get for the price is also solid, so it feels like a good value overall.

Honestly — no flavor at all

The claim of being unflavored is true. I mixed it with water and had no issues at all with the taste — or should I say, lack of taste. The instructions suggest mixing with a flavored beverage if needed, but I didn't need that.

Fine, easy-to-use creatine powder

The powder is nice and fine and easy to dissolve. Being unflavored makes it easy to add to whatever I'm drinking without substantially changing the taste. The included scoop also makes measuring out a serving straightforward.
